From the Director

I wrote Discovering Grace always believing it would end up on a screen. What I didn’t understand then was how much it would take to get there.

In 2014, I started raising money, building a team, and hunting locations around Asheville and Waynesville, NC. A year later, we were on set—long days, tight resources, and a small crew whose passion did more heavy lifting than our budget ever could. After WORD Entertainment picked us up, Chasing Grace made its way to Netflix, Hallmark, PureFlix, and now lives on Amazon Prime.

Watching this little story travel that far has been one of the great privileges of my creative life. I’m deeply grateful to every cast and crew member, every investor, and every friend who refused to let this thing die on the vine.

Without your commitment and heart, Chasing Grace would’ve stayed an idea on the page. Because of you, it became real.

The Novel

Based on the same true events that inspired the film, the Chasing Grace novel goes deeper into the lives of the Matheson family and the two brothers at the heart of the story.

It explores what happens after the credits roll; how people actually live with loss, wrestle with guilt, and slowly find their way back to each other.
